Firstly, you can shop at any time that suits you, day or night, every day of the year - yeschef.co.nz never closes! Secondly, you can shop more intelligently and efficiently - because you have total access to every product, and much more efficient ways of making choices and managing ideas - you could never hope to look at as many products inside a traditional shop. Thirdly, you can shop in total peace, with no pressure or distractions! How are items priced on YesChef? Items are priced at retail and are shipped freight free when the value of a single order is $ 600.00 or more (exclusive of GST). For orders under $ 600.00 freight is chargeable. Permanent discounts are available to regular shoppers - based upon your previous purchasing history. How do I find what I'm looking for? When you know what you're looking for, type in one or more 'keywords' in the search box located near the top right of every page and click the search button. If you'd just prefer to 'browse' - we've provided TWO ways to achieve this: One way is to use the 'Menu' buttons running down the left hand side of your screen - these will take you to a specific category ie: Cookware - which you can then browse from top to bottom and see every item in that category. The other is to browse by 'Sub Category'. Once you've chosen a main category from the left hand menu (let's say 'Cookware' again!), all the sub categories Cookware will now display in the right hand column (below the search window). Note that now you can also apply a search to Cookware only - by checking the appropriate box below the search window. Need More Help? Can't find what you need? Send us an email letting us know what you need - we'll email back as soon as possible with some solutions. Think of the shopping cart as an online version of a supermarket shopping cart/trolley. It's where you put the items you've chosen - until you're ready to purchase. You aren't committed to buying any item in the shopping trolley at the supermarket, until you get to the 'checkout' and the item goes through the till. It's the same with the YesCHEF shopping cart - you can access it at any time to see what you've chosen so far by clicking the 'shopping cart' link located at the top of each page (only visible after an item has been added) and it's only when you go to 'check out' that you need to make final decisions! How do I add items to my cart? Each time you see an item that you'd like to purchase, simply click the 'add to cart' button. You can access your shopping cart at any time by clicking the 'shopping cart' link at the top of each page (only visible after an item has been added). How do I pay when finished shopping? When you've finished shopping and are ready to complete your order, just click the "Shopping Complete" button from the 'shopping cart' page. YesChef has an easy, logical, 3-step process to make completing and paying for your order a breeze!
Why should I give you my email address? When you place an order with yeschef.co.nz, we need to be able to confirm that we have received your order and also let you know that the order has been processed. This information will remain confidential to yeschef.co.nz. We don't sell, or share your information with any other party (unless required by NZ Law). We are committed to making sure that your order reaches the right person as quickly as possible. We need to deliver to a physical address where someone can sign for the delivery. Therefore we don't deliver to a PO Box address. What methods of payment can I use? For online shopping at yeschef.co.nz, we accept Visa and Mastercard. We will also accept a Telegraphic Transfer or Bank Draft by pre-arrangement. You can also open a monthly account (conditions apply) - click on "Account" in the menu at the top of the screen. What if I don't want to give my credit card details on the Internet? Can I order by phone? No problem. Please call our Order Team on Christchurch (03) 3293104. Be sure to have details of what item you want to order, where you would like the item to be delivered, and your credit card details handy when you call. You can contact us during the following hours; Mon to Fri (except public holidays) 9.00 am – 5.00pm. How safe is it to give you my credit card details? Completely safe. When you enter your credit card details to complete a purchase, you are connected to a purpose-built secure page operating under https which uses advanced encryption to make your information unreadable as it is transmitted over the internet. The secure page we use carries Comodo Authentic SSL Certification. How can I check that my transaction will be completely secure? If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape to view yeschef.co.nz, there are two ways of verifying the privacy of your transaction. When you are on a page that asks you to enter credit card details, check for the following to be sure your transaction is secure: A security icon (a key or a lock) will appear on your screen, and the address of the document you are accessing begins with https:// which means secure hypertext transfer protocol. How much do you charge for delivery? Items are shipped freight free when the value of a single order is $600.00 or more (exclusive of GST). For orders under $600.00, freight/packaging/handling is chargeable at $25.00 order. How long does it take for my order to be delivered? We aim to deliver within five working days (Monday to Friday) from receiving your order, however there may be times when certain items take a little longer. If this happens, you will receive an email to advise of any expected delay. How can I tell if my order has gone through successfully? Once you have completed all required details you should receive a confirmation message on screen. This tells you that we have received your order. If there is a problem with processing your order such as a field left blank or an incorrect card number you will be notified straight away. You'll also receive an automated email confirming that your order has been received successfully if you follow the link on the 'completed' page. What if I am having technical problems?
